I prefer to use atomizers, then stick them in a small bag, as they're pretty cheap and in the case they do spill, it'll be neither a pain in the arse to clean, nor too devastating of a loss. Here's a pretty quality one that'll only run you ~5 bucks on Amazon

I use it in a small spray [bottle] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006XDGPKC/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which would make a 2oz sample go pretty far for making sazeracs.
I'm open to anything you would like to offer, but have been wanting to try more Scotch and world whiskey to expand out from bourbon/rye. I've listed a few that may be appropriate based on price.
