Not a perfect solution, but lets you keep up with your nicotine fix without power.
I keep a few with me (transferred to an empty Tic-Tac box) when I am out in case I am in a situation where vaping is either inconvenient or would cause a problem, sort of an 'in case of emergency, break glass' kind of thing, and nobody cares if you eat Tic-Tacs.

They have worked well for me in my usage scenario, but when I am out of range of the evil eye (or back home, if I chose to not take a vaping device), vaping feels like such a pleasure once again.
If you're looking for NRT stuff I like the 2mg mini lozenges. 4mg mini lozenges burn like hell, big lozenges are like a mouthful of chalk, gum sucks, patches itch and fall off if you sweat, and chantix makes you wanna die. (all IMO).
