A few things

• No parrots only bond with 1 person at a time. They will have their favorite person, but with proper training they should tolerate all flock members.
  
  
• This will take a lot of time to get to a point where he behaves around you. We are talking months.
  
  
• You need to spend a lot of time around him. Sometimes talking to him and giving him treats, sometimes just being in the same room but doing your own thing.
  
  
• Start the habit of every time you enter the room, go over and give him a treat. This will build the association in his head that when he see's you he gets treats, so he will be happy to see you.
  
  
• Get this book. Its got good advice

I like the forum Avian Avenue as another site where you can get ask lots of questions and get lots of info from other experience bird owners. They also have specific forums dedicated to the different groups of parrots.

I would pick up some books too because in my experience they tend to condense good information on various parrot related topics into one place and will be less confusing then simply trying to get everything from one "expert" or other on the internet. Obviously parrot ownership is going to be one huge opinion-fest because everyone is going to have different views on the best way to keep their own birds, but there are a few standard principles that I think are good to follow. A couple places to start are here and here.

Honestly, there is too much advice I could give you to get into in one post so the easiest thing for you might be to start with a list of specific questions/topics and ask questions about them while researching them systematically. Though I can chime in on the topic of training and say that my favorite method is using positive reinforcement through clicker training. Check out this book for an in-depth guide to the technique and general bird behavior.

Positive reinforcement training in general is the preferred method for everything from teaching tricks or commands to discouraging biting and screaming. Just today I posted another comment on the principles of operant conditioning in general so you could look through my post history for more info on that.

Overall though, how you train or even discipline your bird is going to depend most on their individual personality, your own relationship, and on how well you read/react to their body language. I really cannot stress how important this last principle is. The key to a wonderful companion is patience, compassion, and understanding. Realizing why they act in a certain way is the first step to implementing the appropriate behavioral modifications.
