Iโm a lesbian, and coming out wasnโt easy. First off my then foster parents were very active in the church my foster moms mom was a pastor at, I tried to explain to them what I was feeling and knew but they dismissed it as a โphaseโ. Fast forward to being 18 and under immense pressure to be straight so I could have a roof over my head I hid my girlfriend and ended up with a guy to please my parents, I got pregnant and as soon as I had my son I vowed to never let who I really am get pushed aside. Things didnโt go so well for awhile but once they saw how happy I was by being able to be myself they became more tolerant, now Iโm married to a woman and while they sill didnโt come to the wedding they treat her with respect and are still a part of my Life
