Fake hate crimes happen. Accept it. Even the ADL themselves say these are just 'reported' to them -- not investigated, not confirmed, not anything.
In other words, claims went up. It cannot be used for the conclusion they actually happened.

I typed in "swastika" into fakehatecrimes.org search and got a hundred results of blacks and jews who falsely reported a swastika they drew themselves.

Someone wrote a book on the subject.
There are articles written about it and there was just the High Profile case of Jussie Smollet.
There are scenarios involving swastikas.
And they often don't know how to draw swastikas.
