At the highest point it brings my chair to barstool height which is probably nice for taller people lol.

My desk is also very high (34" off ground). I have learned I can use any chair and replace the gas tube with a longer one. You'll have to be a bit handy getting the old one out of the bracket, but I'd you get a new chair at the same time it's a no-brainer install.
