Looks like sold by Amazon. Delayed but presumably they think they'll get more.
I like to tell the story of the "sold out" Homeworld Remastered Collector's Edition. I didn't even know it went on sale until well after it was sold out, but luckily Newegg for some reason had them available so I immediately snactched one up. The release date is on the horizon, everyone's getting their shipping status from Amazon, nothing from Newegg. The release date comes and goes, no Homeworld. I contact them several times and Newegg seems at a loss for when the game even comes out - the release date still says December 31st 2015 (it came out in February I think). After about 2-3 weeks of hoping, suddenly it's back up for sale on Amazon... so much for being sold out and having limited quantities And wouldn't you know, it's still available today. The Mothership is pretty nice, though I kind of wish it was the first Mothership rather than the second. It doesn't come with the real art book either, that's like $60 on its own. So it's kind of a mediocre CE.

Considering the two original games come with it and it's being sold for $30 (much less than Homeworld 2 sells for), it's a fairly solid bet that you'll get your money's worth.
This is the only game I've ever preordered and I generally feel preordering is idiotic, but as a long time fan of the franchise, I had to get my hands on that Collector's Edition.
How about the figure from the Remastered Edition?

Yah so, there's a Homeworld Remastered edition coming out sometime in the future. I'm excited for the game but mostly I'm excited for that sweet sweet sculpture of the Pride of Hiigara. This is the only collector's edition I've ever bought and I really hope the sculpture is of a decent quality.
To all the old Homeworld fans, Gearbox software now owns the IP and has decided to work on releasing remastered versions of Homeworld 1 & 2, currently available for preorder.
Also, they are funding a proper prequel made by some of the original Relic Entertainment staff, Homeworld: Shipbreakers (release date TBD)
I didn't even realize that the Homeworld Remastered edition was sold in any "brick and mortar" way. Amazon doesn't seem to have it, except for the Collector's Edition.
That said ... if you got that cheap -- that's pretty sweet!
And if you found one of the original versions of the game -- that's quite a find, even if it's not the remastered version.
Apparently they are. It looks like it's slotted to release in December! That's...kind of exciting if it's true.

I wanted that thing so bad, but found out way too late. It is gorgeous. And with the base and ship it's over 13 inches tall according to Amazon

Because they aren't doing a retail release of the standard version, it's likely too costly to run up a disc production line solely for a limited edition they're already losing money on.
