Just ordered a Honor 5x. It's $199, 1080p IPS screen. It also has a mid-upper range processor (Qualcomm 615/616, for comparison, the S4 and the original HTC One, both flagships in late 2013, used a Qualcomm 600, Nexus 5 used a Qualcomm 800, and current flagships like the LG G5, S7, and new One M10 use the 820 most other new sub-$200 phones will have a okay lower-mid range Mediatek processor) a properly big battery at 3Ah (on par with S7, HTC 10, and a little more than the LG G5's 2800mAh battery, iP6s has a little less than 2Ah and the 6s+ has a little less than 3Ah, for comparison). It's made by a proper company, and sold through Amazon. It also has the fingerprint scanner gimmick. The only drawbacks would be the skin it uses on top of Android Lolipop, MAYBE, and.... that's probably it. 2 SIM card slot capacity and SD card support.

Oh there are so so many alternatives! All depends on your budget.

I actually just brought this phone like yesterday and it seems to rival performance of many other companies. It is really interesting to see a no-name brand come out and actually beat certain aspects of companies like Samsung.

You're looking at used phones. Your budget ($150 per phone) is tiny. Refurbished LG G3 maybe. If you want new, maybe the Huawei Honor 5X

I'm going to attach a list of phones after this I would recommend. However there's one that isn't on the list because it's normally $299 but right now is on sale for $179. So I'm putting that one at the top here.

You might be interested in the OnePlus X or the Honor 5x. Be sure to use this website first to make sure the phone you choose will work with your network provider.

Some people recommended the Moto G4, but another option is the Huawei Honor 5x. The price was $159 a few days ago... don't know why it went up. I expect it will drop again, soon.

I'd advise against it. Still only 1GB RAM.

If that's all you need it's worth considering cheaper options like the Honor 5X too. That said, you'll have to put up with a pretty heavy skin if you go that route.
