I have two questions, I can't seem to find any information, is a new Nexus phone going to be released this year? If so should I just wait to purchase a 6P then? Next question, I have Verizon and I'd rather not have their software on my phone, I'm assuming that the version I linked below should work with them?

I know how it feels, I have been eying this phone for myself for a while and car barely keep myself from buying it because I am waiting for the new one to be released
