I got this one but I actually have the VZW phone so I had to email them and get them to send me the right back plate, which they did for free. It definitely makes the phone bigger, but I actually like the feel of it in my hand a bit better. I never used a case before so it was kind of a big jump in size but it is worth it.

I have a Sprint Galaxy Nexus and I was wondering if I could upgrade the battery (it's really the main downside to it, I love everything else about it); is it worth getting over the included one?

[Edit: I also found this which sounds interesting. Anyone have any advice for me? Is Hyperion a good company for batteries or no? Any alternatives I missed?]

I have a Hyperion battery for my Verizon Galaxy Nexus. I get easily a day and a half with moderate usage.

My only complaint is the replacement battery door is not so good quality. Also it's exceedingly hard to find a car mount. I bought one then modified it with Sugru to make my phone fit.

Rats. Well, if you really need something bigger, Hyperion has the model that fits yours. The battery you linked in the OP will fit just fine, but as others have said, it doesn't support Near Field Communication (AKA Android Beam, the NFC tags people use with Tasker, the Samsung "Ding" you see in the Windows Phone commercials, or the Google Wallet contactless payments)

I'm totally fine with that, I don't like humping phones with anybody.. That's just weird
