Unless you jam it in there violently with no lube, you're not going to damage yourself. Just take your time, use lube, and a toy meant for butt play. If you plan on using fingers, make sure she's careful with her nails (might be best to use latex gloves). As for loosening up, I think you may want to explore it a little on your own to become accustomed to the sensations. When you know what to expect, it makes it MUCH easier to relax and ease open.

you can go up in size any time you want, it's just a matter of being relaxed enough, lubed enough, and going slow....don't just stick it in and forget it, play with it (push it out, pull it out, push it back in)
