The novel Illidan is your best bet. It comes in hardback, paperback, and an ebook. However it only includes his story from when he's released from his prison, and I believe ends with his defeat at the Black Temple.
As far as his life pre-imprisonment, the War of the Ancients trilogy covers most of that, unfortunately it's out of print at the moment, and your best bet is to try finding used copies at a used bookstore, or wait for Blizz to re-release it (they've been doing that lately with their earlier novels).\
