are these m.2 drives worth it? or should I just stick to a regular SSD for now?

You know, it's been awhile since I did my upgrade, and I can't remember if I had to change any BIOS settings or not... I did perform a clean install of Windows however (made a USB boot drive with a Windows 8 ISO), and selected my SSD as the install drive; I didn't bother to try migrating Lenovo's install or anything.
For an SSD, I went with Intel - this one specifically: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EC50A0O
I chose that one because I had previously purchased & returned a Yoga 11s, which would not recognize a Crucial m500 SSD, and I found a reviewer that mentioned that they had the same problem with Crucial, but Intel worked. I've also since heard that Samsung's work, but I'd advise doing some research just to double check - just Google the SSD name and "Yoga 2 13", see if you find any forum postings or anything.
While you have it open, you might consider taking a stab at replacing the wifi card. A guy I was chatting with in another thread (here: http://www.reddit.com/r/SuggestALaptop/comments/2alfo3/yoga_2_pro_vs_surface_pro_3/ciwfr3h ) suggests that that card will work (unlike the one from Amazon I tried). I'm going to be ordering one later this month myself and giving it another shot.
