I mix tuna, mayo, some chopped up pickle, boiled egg and some shredded cheese. I eat it with a fork or on some cucumber. Frozen hamburger patties can be a savior, because you can pop them in the frying pan for a quick meal with a couple eggs. If you can afford it, get some of those low carb protein mixes. They are very tasty and filling. I use the Jay Robb stuff. Its expensive for a little bag but it goes a long way and it is so delicious.

I hate pushing products, but Atkins does make some pretty good meal replacement bars (chocolate and peanut butter).

I try to stick to almonds, cheese sticks, pepperoni, salami and veggies for my snacks. For meals I do meat and veggies.

No I think you misunderstood, I've used several different whey protein powders, and they've all mixed in with my oatmeal just fine.

That said, maybe it's because you're using a cheaper type of whey, like a concentrate or a blend, and that's why it's not mixing up well? The ones I use are always pure isolates. These are the ones I've used that are reliably good:

This protein powder is supposed to be the absolute tastiest, so good that it tastes good just mixed with water. I linked you to strawberry, but it also comes in vanilla, chocolate, unflavored, pina colada and tropical dreamsicle. I've had it on my list to try for a while, but haven't yet, so I can't give a first-hand account, but there are rave reviews!

Others have suggested fresh veggies and fruits; I second these (even ones you might not normally eat taste totally different in a smoothie!).

Also, /u/fembecca suggested PB2. You should definitely try this product, for it is awesome. You can use it in shakes/smoothies, mug cakes, etc. It's the best!
