Yes, do the 650r sprocket. Get a cone shaped grinding wheel to slightly flare out the sprocket to fit where the shaft splines taper off, don't just hammer it on as I have seen some do, Also slather the shaft with antizieze or waterproof grease once your test fit is good and a dab of blue locktite on the retainer bolts.
