I think I might know what you are talking about - it's the Juiced Systems Microsoft Surface Pro 3 - 4 in 1 Adapter - 2x USB 3.0, SD/SDHC/MMC4.0, Micro SD/SDHC. It's the one I was thinking, too.
It doesn't have video out.

It's not that expensive anyway...but cheaper would be nice.
Thanks for the suggestion. I am looking for a simple USB hub with just a few USB ports. I don't need slots for SD cards or other stuff.
