for $30, it's worth buying a new one.
This is the one I snagged: https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Digital-DataTraveler-DTSE9G2-64GB/dp/B00SOL9Z1M/ref=pd_sim_147_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=549NKFVV26TNS9WXV65J
Problem.
Solution:
100% right. It is limited. But, you can still have something you can make fairly sharp on a keychain that is good enough for 75% of common urban causal (non-knife-type-work stuff or home use) knife tasks. If dull, you can take care of less. I also have a good AAA flashlight on my key chain. probably almost as good as the crap 2D plastic stuff you find in grocery stores, but not near as good as a "real flashlight".
I keep a lot on my keychain (more than most), including one of those little USB storage things - which are fairly resilient and inexpensive: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SOL9Z1M/
Man,
I've been searching (not very well apparently..) for a cheaper version of the Orbitkey for so long!
I bought the key organizer last night and received it this after noon! For your comments about retightening it, I'll see what will happen but you might want to try a drop of blue loctite or even the pink one.
For the USB, I had a Kingston data traveler 64g laying around a the office. It works well with the key organizer ( an pretty cheap too)https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00SOL9Z1M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Anyway! Thanks again
The Sandisks are decent, just not so great for a keychain. Kingston Datatravelers hold up much better from my experience: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00SOL9Z1M/
(avoid cheap Kingston's as mentioned...or any cheap usb for that matter...these however are decently built, have gone through a 2.0 and now using a 3.0...both survived my keychain on a fast clip for more than two years each with no problems)
I have a USB that looks similar.

I have 4 of these on my keychain, 1 of each size - 8GB has TAILS on it, 16GB has Portable Apps and a few other programs, 32GB has a YUMI with different Linux Distros, Windows 7,8 and 10 iso's, and various recovery cd's, and my 64GB has a VeraCrypt volume and plenty of free space for just random junk.
Just bought two of these and I'm incredibly satisfied with them:

Merci encore ♥
it possibly could be I guess but in case you want to test another: This is the one that works for my TCL 48FS3750, Amazon is great at returns if it doesn't work: https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Digital-DataTraveler-DTSE9G2-64GB/dp/B00SOL9Z1M/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1473713388&sr=8-3&keywords=kingston%2B64gb
