Don't always trust MSRP. The keyboard is usually about that price. Always check camelcamelcamel for Amazon items to see what they usually go for. Anyways, I would actually suggest that you go to your local electronics store or bigbox store like Fry's, Microcenter, or Best Buy and check out their display models.
DO NOT buy the items there though because they mostly have gaming keyboards which spend all their money advertising and not enough on the product (and nonstandard bottom rows). Once you find a switch you like, come back and let us know and we can go from there!
