Wireless mice have improved a lot in the past couple of years. Increasing over time you're finding that pro players are opting to use wireless mice. The G403 and G903 are usually suggested for players who are wanting wireless mouse options.

/r/MechanicalKeyboard has in their Buying Guide page all about the different switches. There are also some suggestions that you can look at too. Mechanical keyboards are going to offer you tactile feedback, especially if you're using blue switches or browns; while also being responsive and consistent. Membranes function on pressing down on a plastic bubble until it collapses. They are much more spongy and less consistent. Are membrane keyboards bad? Nah. Mechanical keyboards do have their advantages such as requiring and precise time presses.

Preference. Usually most mice at the minimum have a DPI switch plus mouse 4 and mouse 5 buttons. If you're playing MOBAs you may want to consider options with a lot more buttons.

As large as your table can fit. The larger room that you have, the more room you have for aiming with your arm and not wrist. Since you're brand new to PC gaming you'll probably develop your own way of aiming. The larger the mouse mat you'll typically have a lot lower sensitivity.

For those with Prime, it's been sitting at the same price on Amazon for a week or two now.
As others have said, it's worth noting that this is not the refreshed G903 with the Hero sensor, but it's still a great mouse. It's had some QC issues, but Logitech support is great about giving replacements for defective units.

Two things: First, if cost is any kind of concern, do not think about the G900/403/603/703/903. Second, you can alleviate cable clutter with velcro tying the excess and getting a mouse bungee like the Zowie Camade.
The PowerPlay thing is particularly ridiculous, as you're literally paying 100$ for a more convenient charging station. And if your goal was to get rid of cable clutter, the PowerPlay literally has a cable going to it, so the sum is still 1 cable on your desk, just now it's not attached to your mouse.

Is paying almost 3 times as much worth a good wireless experience? I don't think so. Is paying more than 6 times as much worth the best wireless experience you can have? I don't think so. Particularly, if you're just looking to reduce the amount of cables on your desk, the PowerPlay lineup does nothing for that, as the mousepad requires a cable: It literally just shifts the cable from the mouse to the pad.
New G903s are $100 on Amazon currently. The only listings in the $70 range are used.

And most wireless gaming keyboards are shitty membranes ones. Not really worth it.

I've been using this mouse for awhile now and haven't had double clicking issues like I did with Razr / Logitech mouse. Plus it's a bargain!

Despite my stab at Logitech earlier, this mouse is by far the most responsive wireless mouse I've used. Not only that, it can be used on almost any surface since sometimes I use it on a pillow / bed sheet while lounging around in bed and playing games on the TV via steam link.

Like above, the Lightspeed tech makes it super responsive even at more than 10ft away. Not only that, you can switch between Bluetooth / Lightspeed allowing you to control up to two different machines at a flip of the switch.
no i mean i do the same for work all day. my entire life i used a mouse in my right, i am doing that now lol!!
but i jsut found out that they have a lefty gaming mouse at the same time that i was starting my journey into gaming on my PC, so i grabbed one. i really like it. makes me feel like im more consistent with my aim overall.
