Lucid Sound LS40 (or its little brother LS30).
I absolutely do recommend these. They are wireless, sound really good and look really good. They work for both PC and the newest consoles, so you can use them for everything. The microphone is also detachable, so you can take it of when not chatting.

This one looks very good..I now you mentioned no surround sound, but but looking at the questions on Amazon.. Looks like it will plug into the optical port on the xbox one. I might have to put up with all the electrical waves going to my head for this one.. :)

Question: Does surround sound work on ps4 & xbox one?
Answer: Short answer: yes
Long answer: The headphones come with a USB receiver and an optical cable that plug into the console. The Xbox one and original PS4 have optical slots but the PS4 slim does NOT have one. The headphones come with a small and easy to follow instruction booklet to help with the set up.

If you have a PS4 slim, get a longer optical cable and hook it to your TV. Your PS4 Slim will send audio to TV via HDMI, then the TV will send it to the receiver by optical instead.

Brought a pair of Lucidsound LS40. They are pricey. I also own Sony Gold and Platronics Rig4VR and they don't even compare to the Lucidsound LS40 not even close.
