So aside from the FC4 and 5 there's also:
Mad Catz Fightpad Pro, which is similar to the FC but also has a analog stick and possibly a better d-pad. This guy talks about it here.
The older version seems to be this one, but I heard the dpad is not so hot.
The Retro-Bit Sega Saturn controller, which is a replica of the good old Saturn pad which many consider the best pad of its era. I've been thinking of getting this one because of the d-pad and supposedly it's cheap and has good build quality.
Then there's this controller from PowerA and it looks a lot like the Saturn pad. It hasn't been released yet though.
The Fighting Commander is probably your safest bet, but the Saturn style pad looks good too.
