I've read two books in the last few years.

Managing Humans. It's written from the point of view of a programmer who has ventured into the management range. Lets be real, most of us kind of suck at person to person interaction, this gives you an idea of how to deal with people. -- http://www.amazon.com/Managing-Humans-Humorous-Software-Engineering/dp/159059844X

Time Management for System Administrators. This book helped me out a lot. Managing your time is very important and learning how to delegate your time is even more important. If you're lucky enough to have staff, use them. http://shop.oreilly.com/product/9780596007836.do

If you're looking for programming knowledge for managers, you might consider Steven Frank's How to Count.

If you're looking for management knowledge for programmers, you can do no finer than Managing Humans by Michael Lopp. (His follow-up, Being Geek isn't bad either.)
