What color rain jacket should I get? I live in a rainy place and am going to get either a Marmot jacket like this or maybe an Arc'teryx similar this. I'm thinking either muted green or gray, but just wondering what the hivemind has to say on the subject. Typically I wear gray stuff but maybe there's a color that's a little more fashionable and less boring. I don't want anything loud/bright but wouldn't mind some subtle orange/red highlights. I hate navy blue.
I use the Mermot Precip, have been for the last three years and so far it has kept me 100% dry even through the worst downpours! I like it because it's just a shell, so on warm days I can wear it alone and in the winter I can wear it over something else.
