I use this. My scrub pants have cargo pockets and this fits perfectly. I invert it and zip it wth the loops and pockets facing out, front side gets shears in the large pocket, red pen, highlighter, dual sided sharpie, pen light, white board marker in the loops. back side gets a hemostat or two thrown in the back side. In the in between or "inside" i slip a small spiral notebook.

The nice part is its easy to grab and go and KNOW I have my basics, and at the end of the day I clip my badge to it when I get to my car so I dont lose that.

YMMV if you dont have cargo pockets it would fit in.

I agree. Seeing the same 5 items, often literally the same model, doesn't really do that much for me. My cutoff for EDC would be what you could comfortably carry on your person that isn't a backpack full of gear. For instance, I have a Maxpedition Mini Pocket that's the sweet spot for me. It's big enough to bring a variety of items but small enough that I could wear it on a belt or throw it in a bag. I can EDC something like that without a sweat, and if it's not on my person then it's in my car with me or in my pack

it does not, it does have molly on the back, and you can make a paracord belt loop for it. if it is the mini (I have both the mini and EDC version) it will fit in front pocket or cargo pocket very well.

I recently bought a Maxpedition Mini. It is has a noticeable bulge, fitting tightly into a typical jeans pocket, and comfortably in a cargo pants pocket. It fits a decent amount of stuff, like pens, mini tools, a small first aid baggy, some computer cables, flashlight, etc. It could fit more but I like keeping it relatively streamline.

I think its the best size for a pocket pouch. Any smaller and it's less useful than a pocket, any bigger and your needs may be better satisfied with a backpack. I don't mind the excessive bulge in my jeans, nor occasionally carrying it in my hand, but that's just my preference.

I should also add the material quality is remarkably good, and very ruggedly built, I was quite surprised. It feels like a mini heavy duty Northface backpack.

kingston DTM drives? with a freekey system? maybe ad a carbine for your keys?

as for a flash light what do you think of a streamlight microstream?

hard to say any more if i dont know how you carry all that stuff

also, try to fix one or two days (depends of how much you use your zippo) for filling days, that way you wont need a backup lighter. or just get some kind of a pocked organizer like a maxpedition mini or maxpedition micro, for what i see that is more than enough for you

EDIT: ADDED BELLOW

if you dont like carbines think about the P7 or Nite Ize Keyclipse
