Wow, a month is pretty crazy...at that rate it might've been easier to just nip it in the bud with those I/V antibiotics.

I think I'm gonna follow your case if you don't mind keeping us updated here on Reddit...I mean, not in like a creepy way...lmao...but I've got a bit of curiosity when it comes to seeing how doctors treat different cases of MRSA and bad staph infections in general since I'm apparently extremely susceptible to them.

I've had more infections like this on my face/neck than I have fingers on both of my hands. It sucks pretty bad when they come on and develop as rapid as they do. I've only had a few on other parts of my body, one on my behind, one on my thigh, and one on my forearm...and other than a frequently weakened immune system (also a mystery) they can't figure out why I keep getting them.

It can be pretty embarrassing. Are they at least giving you something for the pain, or is it not that bad right now? Mine always felt like a combination of a really bad headache and somebody trying to put a cigarette out on me...sorry for the long post...lol

Edit: I don't know if it's been brought up, but this soap works great for cleaning around the wound to help prevent it from spreading. Pretty much anything with Chlorhexidine as the main ingredient will do.
