I have a body pillow, eventually I just adapted to bringing it with me when I rolled over. You can buy a countoured leg pillow and maybe you'll be more likely to take it with you when you move.
There are also free yoga videos on Youtube that are specifically designed to help stretch the muscles in the IT band area. Search for "yoga for runners" and you should fine them.
