It's an A4 notebook/notepad holder from Maruman. I have the A5 sized one and it's super fantastic. Can hold 3-4 pads, spare sheets of paper (or envelopes, blotter paper, whatever. Has a notch to hold a pen. It's not the most elegant or high end solution out there, but it's amazingly usable. I have a couple pads of paper, some envelopes, guide sheets and blotter paper in mine. I've been thinking about getting the A4 size to use at work, but then I'd have to supply my own paper too, rather than just using the cheap stuff at work. Still tempting though.
