I got this game ( http://www.amazon.com/Nancy-Drew-Mystery-Society-Nintendo-DS/dp/B0014QAO3C ) like 5 christmases ago from my well-meaning father, and I can safely say it was an absolute disappointment. The story was terrible. I don't remember any puzzles even being in the game. It was also extremely short. I don't even think it's made by the same people as the original computer games. I don't know if there are any other Nancy Drew DS games but if they're similar to this one they're probably not very similar to the computer game.
However there are many other great games for the 3DS that are not related to Nancy or her adventures so you should not be afraid to explore other possible games! (I will shamelessly plug for my current obsession, Animal Crossing New Leaf). Read some reviews and talk to some gaming friends and find some nice games to keep you busy between NC releases!
But yeah basically I played one and was disappointed but there are other things going for the 3DS!
