g'day mate, how ya goin? a guy at my gym wears the same brace that you showed in your picture. He rides the recumbent exercise bike I imagine this would be easier than the fully erect bikes. they also have straps on the pedals that should help keep your feet in place and they allow you to keep a pushing or pulling motion on the pedals and this will help you get past any spots in the motion where you lack the power.
