I've had two of those regulators die early within 6 months. Not that they even work properly to begin with, working pressure was always stuck at 50 no matter how you adjusted the knob. Nearly knocked myself out trying to adjust it to find out that you couldn't. Knob went flying and Co2 escaped. Buy a quality regulator. I bought the co2 art one from Aquarium Co-op and haven't looked back. I already spent 2/3 of the cost on that one with regulators that broke. Luckily the second third broke while I could still return it to Amazon.

Those adapters work fine, but I actually use a paintball remote coil to get a knob that I can use to turn off the flow. A little extra but worth it to not have co2 flowing as you try to screw it in

Something like this might work as well but I can't find prime eligible one

But after my experience with those MOD regulators, I cannot recommend them and would recommend spending a little more for better quality. It wasn't until I bought a CO2 art one that I knew how crappy those MOD ones are. I can actually adjust the working pressure rather than just having it stuck at 50 according to their gauge.

Aquarium Co-op one I have: https://www.aquariumcoop.com/collections/co2/products/co2-art-dual-stage-pro-regulator

The aquatek is probably good from the other mention in this thread, though I'd recommend going with a regulator you can also use with larger regular tanks of you decide to upgrade that route. Aquatek one could still be horrible but I don't know as no experience, but mod regulator is definitely a piece of junk from the two I had break on me. One decided to spew out co2 out and the other wouldn't turn off. Both didn't have a working working pressure knob.
