I don't move the bench often, but when I need to these work like a charm. Very smooth.

I've built one similar to this using those exact same casters. I hate them with a passion. I think those casters are too small. You might look into something like these casters I haven't personally used them, but I see a lot of people recommend them over the types that you have.
