I've been having issues falling asleep and ended up fixing it with a most wonderful drug... Please, don't be skeptical and just give this thing a try (I know... $45 for a blue light? But it works for me):

How it works is that the blue light pulsates and when you look at the reflection of the light on the ceiling, each time the light dims, your eyes will start closing and after a few minutes you just fall asleep.

I've had this thing for a couple months now and it continues working for me. It lasts about 6 weeks with one 9v battery I guess, but I ended up jerry rigging it with an old adapter I had lying around.
