His son, Joe Hill, is also a very good writer. I found Heart Shaped Box and NOS482 pretty creepy.
I also really like Harvest Home by Thomas Tryon as a different kind of scary. A slow build scary. You'll probably have to go to your local library to find a copy.
Have you read NOS4A2? It's written by Stephen King's son (Joe Hill). It's quite spooky and if you are into horror it will be a good read
NOS4A2 by Joe Hill should fit that criteria. It doesn’t have the same kind of questionable details Stephen King books can have, but it’s written by his son, who has a lot of the same voicing his fathers writing contains. It’s a great read!
