I can give you exactly the specs of each one.

All run the same motherboard, cpu and ram and hard drive, the cards vary a bit. Cpu's I got a deal at Fry's when they were on sale for 69.99 each so I picked up 4 of them used 3 so far. The SSD's I had from previous systems so I cant say, the ram was 22.99 each CHEAP ram nothing special at Microcenter, motherboards I ordered from newegg for 119.99 each.

Common parts:
ASRock H110ProBTC+
Intel I3 6100
4GB DDR4 2600mhz
256GB SSD 850 evo's

system1 video cards:
3x 750 EVGA B2 PSU's
6x GTX 1070's EVGA SSC 8GB

4x RX 580's MSI 8GB

2nd system:
3x EVGA 750 B2 PSU's
6x GTX 1070's EVGA FTW 8GB
2x RX 570's MSI 4GB
2x RX 580's Sapphire 4gb

3rd System:
1x 1000 watt corsair
1x 750 watt EVGA B2
4x RX 580 MSI 4GB
4x RX 580 Sapphire 4GB
5x RX 570 Sapphire 4GB

bought 8 packs of these 6 pack of risers, love the quick release.

I have only had 2 of them die since I bought them, but 1 was of course my fault the other was a defective right away.

All main psu's are hooked up to a Wemo Insight which is controlled via my own created software where it pings each system that is online and if it fails to ping it reboots the system by clicking off the power and back on and then waiting the specified time I have given it to boot back up, since each of my system stake roughly 31 seconds I give it 45 secs to make sure, if it fails to boot in that time, it triggers again and it starts it over.

Like these?

Edit: should I first try to run off the sata cable or try 6pin to 6pin. My psu is 1300w Platinum. 5 Rx 570's with only 1 8 pin on each.

I have 8 vga 8 pin ports and 9 6pin power ports. 2 12v rails.

The cables I have have 3 satas on them and they are supper thick and high quality.

Ok so the risers you want are this or something similar. There are a few different manufactures making these things

For mining purposes it doesn't matter whether you are using a 1x or 8x slot or whatever. A motherboard that has one 16x slot and five 1x slots is fine. You'll be attaching these risers to the slots and put your cards in the adapters.

Any cheap Z170 Pro mobo from your favorite brand will be fine. I think a few like the MSI Z170-A Gaming Pro Carbon will let you hook up 7 GPUs, but you may want a 1050 or 1200 Watt power supply if you hook up a 7th 1060.
