I don't like the band it has, but that can be easily replaced. The one thing that I wouldn't like is that I couldn't show off the mechanical movement and that it can gain or lose 30 seconds a day. I like the black look it has, and its awesome size.

They're sold out at the moment, but the 40mm Tisell Pilot would be right up your ally. A little over $200 CAD now with our terrible dollar though. For a diver, as long as you aren't after the metal bracelet and don't mind picking up a new leather strap or nato, you can snag a Orient Ray on the rubber strap for under $200 CAD (which leaves you room to replace the rubber).

Just FYI, at 100m of water resist, the T2M563 would not customarily qualify as a diver-grade watch. That's why J. Crew calls it a "diver-style" watch. I'd recommend a Black Mako instead, which is also automatic.

Its description advises against actual scuba diving, ironically. If you need more depth and can squeeze another $15 into your budget Citizen makes a nice solar-powered quartz rated for 300m.
