Buy the back case from amazon its only like 20 bucks brooooo its so easy to replace Here you go and to remove it

I've seen replacement backs on amazon for about 20 bucks and I don't think they're too hard to put on. Might be worth looking into.
*Edit: Here's a link to a replacement back on amazon. Reviews say it is pretty good and it should make your phone look new again.

I bought this recently: (nexus 4 back)[ http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00FRBVMLS] well I stuck at this formatting thing on my phone...

$19.88 - comes with Pry tool and (shitty) torx screwdriver.

It took about 30 minutes to swap. I was being very very careful, but it was easy.
