I disagree. In addition to being overpriced, they are overkill. Hue bulbs may be capable of 16 million colors, but you would never want 15.8 million of those for a bathroom.
If OP wants smart bulbs, something like these $15 tunable white bulbs will serve them better. Cheaper, not proprietary hub, and can still be set to any color you'd reasonably want.
There are also no-hub-required wifi tunable bulbs, but I don't have experience with them.
But really, OP should just buy basic 2700-3000k led bulbs and not worry about being able to customize the exact hue of light.
If you're interested in the color changing feature of the bulbs, take a look at the Osram RGBW bulbs, or the Osram Tunable White bulbs (if you're okay just adjusting color temperature and not getting funky with it).
Same basic functionality, much cheaper, and they connect just fine to a Wink hub without needing the Osram Bridge.
I have four of the Sylvania Lightify tunable white light bulbs and the SmartThings hub handles them without an additional hub. I have them in different rooms and 'allowed access' to them in the Google Home app so I can say 'turn off the lights in the living room' and both turn off.
I can also say dim my bedroom light to 5%. You have to pick a percent if you want the lights to dim.

There's tons of cheaper stuff out there, but you'd have to be flexible on your must haves.
No other lock that I know of except the August can be accessed with time sensitive or love time codes. The Schlage and Kwikset models can have codes input but they'd have to be deleted later manually. Schlage sense locks can be accessed through their app to delete codes or deactivate them remotely, but that app costs $5 a month so the August would be cheaper in the long run as there isn't a fee.
You can get a bunch of Cree LEDs that connect to WiFi and are controlled with Alexa natively, they're pretty cheap comparatively at $14. Though you'll lose your other must of light temperature colors changing.

.... though those are all just Amazon prices. Maybe they are just the ones pricing high.
Already good comments here, but TBF the best remote things are outlets and wall switches. That way if/when you hit a switch to turn something off the 'old' way it will still respond if you want it on.
Also, you need a hub. Smartthings or Wink.
The rest are worthless (Hue hub and all the other hubs). IMO Philips Hue is lame. If you want colored bulbs go get Sylvania lightify (cheaper, less crap in your house since it doesn't need its own hub).
Ideal starter setup would be an echo dot $50, a hub $100, two wall switches ($30ea) (for unswitched outlets) and a couple wall paddle switches ($30ea). That much hardware would set you back about $270, but would add a fair bit of fun and convenience.
