  1. If you’ve got 100, I’d grab shoes for your wife. But specifically regarding your mat question, you definitely want a mat below the bike. Tile+sweat+riding cleats=something broken.

2)Shoes are very personal. I’d try some on. Their shoe is perfectly fine if it fits, and if you have a credit it is a nice way to spend it.

3)3lb for bike work will get both of you started.. A variety is nice though and you will probably want to add a different size or two.

  2. Lots of decent options on Amazon. Here is one:

If you’re a sweater I’m sure your wife would appreciate her own pair. These are reported to be good value and no lag.

  3. not sure on the Samsung. I use a TICKR fit. It and the Scosche are highly recommended here, but aren’t “cheap”.

  4. Got the warranty. Haven’t had to use it, but am glad I have it.

  5. Not for a minute.

Given that I'm a heavy and super salty sweater I went with a low-end pair, assuming I'd be replacing them every 3-6 months.

I got these optim ones from Amazon. Now, they're not great headphones... but they do work, no lag... and at $20...

(It's also been 7 months and they're holding up better than expected)

Here is a real good ...and cheap set I've been using:

I have these headphones from Amazon and love them! I've gotten a few friends to get them too. Affordable, hold up well, decently long battery.

Otium Headphones

It won't come off due to the way it holds the ears, but its uncomfortable with an earbud and short term usage with bluetooth and a battery.

I hope someday the patent troll responsible for this mess gets staked through the heart.

Edit: I'm going to post this here anyway. This is what I'm talking about: Panasonic head/earphones But I'm guessing the material overheats the ears and the sound is not private at all.

Must we have comically overlarge headphones? Is it concern for children because of those jackasses whom blast music to babies?

Budget - Under $50

Source - Android phone

Requirements for Isolation - Do you need a lot, some, or none Maybe some? I'll be using these for working out at the gym, so blockage of whatever is playing in the gym would be great.

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes!

Preferred Type of Headphone - IEM.

Preferred tonal balance - Probably balanced/ no preference.
Past headphones - iPhone default headbuds (Especially the ones they started making with iPhone 5 or w/e); I tend to go through headphones at a very quick rate as I just destroy the cable, and they tend to offer the most longevity.

I'm buying from outside of the US, so not everything ships my way.

I'm currently looking at both the [SoundPEATS Magnetic Wireless Earbuds] (https://www.amazon.com/SoundPEATS-Bluetooth-Headphones-Sweatproof-Earphones/dp/B074THH5Q2/ref=zg_bs_9059092011_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=9EMF5Y3JW95J99QAERHH) and the [Otium Wireless Sports Earphones w/ Mic IPX7] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018APC50Y/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AG626CFCJIK88&psc=1) but I'm open to other suggestions!
