Yeah but only when plugged in. I don't leave certain appliances plugged in when I'm not using them. Once I had a blender that just had sparks fly out of it and started spinning uncontrollably. And it wasn't when I was near it or just after using it. It was about 30 minutes later and was very scary. If I wasn't home, it would've caught on fire.
