/u/rojamb - for future reference, this question is probably more appropriate for /r/videography than /r/Filmmakers, but that said, the video in the example you posted was rendered at 1440p, and some of Frankie's earlier videos are rendered at 2160p, so he probably uses a 4K camera.
The least expensive 4K camcorder you can buy (that isn't a GoPro or some other action camera) is probably the Panasonic VX870 at [about $700] (https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-HC-VX870K-Camcorder-Smartphone-Capture/dp/B00RBG5TRA/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=battleforthew-20), while the least expensive 4K point and shoot is [around $500] (https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMC-FZ300K-Megapixel-2-3-inch-Dustproof/dp/B011PKJI2Y//ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=battleforthew-20) (on sale), the Panasonic FZ300 [Referral Links].

If $500 is too much of a stretch for your budget, you'll either have to use a 4K cell phone, a 4K action camera with a wide angle fixed lens or you're stuck at 1080p.
Hope this was somewhat helpful.
I use the Panasonic 4K. It's a great camera but my screen got rained on so the video is stuck upside-down. I had to put an external monitor on it.
