no. Fight pads feel horrible on smash. Also instead of using the adapters I've been using these and they feel near perfect:

Well, actually ended getting this today for 23 bucks. And yes, I got Peach's, it was the only one they got. But if I have to lose my dignity to play Smash with a sorta-Gamecube controller, so be it.

I'm guessing this is similar to the PDP Wired Fight Pad (which comes in many character flavours).

Which, like the classic pro controller, is illegal at most tournaments because it relies on the wiimote for power which can cause accidental re-connects.

It's quite sad, as these are my favourite controllers. They're nearly identical to the original GC ones I grew up with, but have the addition of another z-button [like the new pro] and more clickey, which I prefer.

But I have since moved to the new Smash GC controllers + Adapter combo because of this. At least I don't need batteries now.

At the end of the day, an ordinay GC controller is fine to Bidou with. As discussed here.

Since I couldnt find an adapter I bought this Wii U Fight Pad Controller. It's decent.

Worth mentioning there are more designs, such as a Pikachu one, a Lugi one, Link, Metal Mario, DK, Yoshi, Peach, Wario, and Samus. There might more designs, but that's all I found.
Regarding quality, they are officially licensed by Nintendo, so they should be good.
