I have one of the cheaper Phillips Norelcos from Costco (cheaper being relative, you can get them cheaper but idk the quality of the shave). As long as you use it every day/every other day it’s great. If you let your hair get longer than short stubble it can start to feel like it’s pulling some but even then it’s not terrible. I had tried one of the like $20 no name shavers before and it felt like my hair was being ripped out.

Have had the Phillips about 5 years, with heavy use in the last two years, have only have replaced the blades once. As long as you clean the shavers occasionally with alcohol and wipe it down it stays fine.

I keep mine in the car during the week, use it each morning and on the way home. I take it out on Friday after work to clean it and charge it. Realistically the charge lasts longer than that also.

The only complaint is that since the hair on my neck grows in different directions there’s one or two spots that I always have to go over multiple times. I think one of the newer ones that has less plastic around the three blade things may work better but I haven’t seen the need to get another new one yet. Eventually will prolly upgrade.

I do need to make sure to moisturize with some kind of lotion after or it really dries my face out.

I've used cheaper electric razors and more expensive ones, generally in this style.

I didn't notice a great difference between the cheap and the expensive shavers. They're really not intended to be used by someone who has more facial hair. They're for someone who wants to maintain a smooth face all the time.
