This one's been great for me for the last 4-5 months. Slim, light-weight and reasonably simple/attractive looking. That said, the pricing is looking a little weird right now.

I ordered this one. It looks perfect but it won't ship until later this month.

I purchased this case when it was first available and they had a few problems with the original builds. I just received my 3rd version of this case (all replacements free of charge) and I have to say that this time they have it perfect.

I would highly recommend this case to anyone who is looking for something with a solid feel, very slim profile and built in stand functionality. It also has a smart cover. The 7 fits very snuggly into the case.

I think the Poetic Slimline is pretty similar to the Asus case.

Personally, I prefer the Moko case for the lifetime warranty and a more stable stand feature. I also splurged for the carbon fiber texture because it looks and feels really nice.

Seems silly to protect the back of the case when it is already a sturdy material. I realize most people get this sort of case to protect from drops, but I'm not too worried about that.

Tube sock thing would almost work but I'm mostly trying to protect the glass from piercing damage. The most hostile environment the tablet has to endure is my wife's purse, which has all sorts of pointy implements. A leather or rubber case would protect from piercing better than cloth.

I came across this case which doesn't look too bad, but still seems thicker than it needs to be. The Dodo case looks amazing but the adhesive would make it difficult to remove the tablet. The official case bugs me because the front flap doesn't secure in any way. This one isn't out yet but seems to be the best of the bunch.

You know, maybe I don't give the glass enough credit. I have been using my current phone (Samsung Galaxy S) without a case for over 2 years, and the glass still looks great. There are some tiny scratches, but you have to reallllly look to see them. I suppose the big difference is the phone stays in my relatively safe pocket while the tablet gets tossed into the nearest container.

Get the Poetic Slimline case. The black one was $5 when I preordered it, but I think it's gone up to $10, with the other colors being $15. It looks a lot like the ASUS premium cover and works great. Auto sleep/wakes the screen, feels and fits great, etc. I like the way it attaches much more than most of the other cases I've seen that just loop an elastic band over the corners or have weird claw things that grip around the edges.

looks good, has the magnets for the auto wake, and can be propped up. not bad for price at all

'That Case' as in the $50 'Premium Case'.

I forgot I tried out the Poetic Slimline too, which was pretty close to perfect, but I wanted more protection while traveling and just havent swapped it back on yet.

Thanks for saying you didn't like the Moko, reminded me I even had the Poetic Slimline anymore. Hahah
