tweezers work really good. i was lucky and had a magnifying glass that's mounted on a table with a light attached to it. worked really good. i couldn't believe i still had stuff in there. You can find cases with port covers or things like this if you want to be preventative
Street medic here and I am in a lot of shitty environments regularly that are covered in airbag dust, nasty ass houses w/ copious people/animal dander and all sorts of fun stuff. It may be overkill, but I use these and don't have to buy a super bulky case. Kinda dorky, but you don't notice it after a while.
