OK so it turns out that John RT Davies' apprentice, Ted Kendall, remastered a shitload of Django for JSP. So I think this is most of it in chronological order:

The Classic Early Recordings, 1934-1939
Renown & Resistance, 1937-1944
Postwar Recordings, 1944-1953

You should probably just start from the beginning with the Classic Early Recordings.
