Just an option, but I have on of these. It's a handy little ball washer. You pull the microfiber inside out and get it wet and wring it out and put it back in. Then just throw it in your back pocket and use it to clean your ball on the greens.
The ProActive GreenGo Golf ball cleaner. Its like 10 bucks and I use it before every putt.
