It's worked fine for me so far, though I have heard people say that it's not as good for very long or very rounded nails. I also have this set of stamping plates and I am happy with the variety, but I'm not sure how "cheap" they are compared to other sets of plates:

That's my favorite plate! This is my go-to design when I just want to do something quick -but pretty- with my nails! I highly recommend it.

i cut my nails down today. accidentally poked the cat in the nose pretty hard yesterday so i decided it was time. plus, they were starting to crack and i was sick of worrying about breaking them.
my SO's sister tried to order me these plates for X-mas, but sadly they are sold out. she got me a Pueen stamper in the meantime, but the little white blob of squish won't stay in the stamper. :(
i also got a little pouch with polishes from my brother's gf and the first one i pulled out was China Glaze- Bring on the Bubbly. wellll, i just so happened to have selfishly bought this for myself about a month ago. it came with Liquid Leather and a white striper polish (which she also gave me), and it was like $9! i couldn't turn it down but i should have gifted her the black polish and the white striper. :-/ i felt like a real butthole, so i made her keep Liquid Leather since she only had matte black.
i hope everyone had an okay holiday season. one of my SO's relatives thinks she got away with making a snide remark and i'm having trouble getting past it. oh i heard you honey, i just chose to ignore you. :)
Most of those really cheap nail art supplies come from China though.
Maybe a stamper & scraper and a good set of nail plates or this one?
