Usually cheap sticks are poorly made for the amount of punishment that gets put onto them. More than likely you'll end up having to pay extra to replace the parts not to mention most of them won't feel right. You want a good amount of space for you hands, a large base so it sits well on your lap/table, and a nice amount of weight so that it doesn't move or lift up when you're using it. I personally use a Qanba Q2 which was around $135 and it's been fantastic but, who knows what you could find if you searched a little bit more.
