Recharge has kelp extract, molasses, humic/fulvic acid, amino acids, and cannabis specific strains of mycorrhizae, trichoderma, and bacillus.

AKA everything you need. Organic or not, it has a more than noticeable effect. It is incredible!

Is this the product you are talking about when you say "recharge"? I've been having some lockout issues as well, and if that's the solution, I'll order it right now.

I would recommend checking out KIS organics or I've heard good things about Royal Mix but have not used myself. Root Organics is pretty good as well. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend checking out Growers Recharge over everything else though (it'll work best with better soil, but it will definitely give you huge improvements almost overnight).

The Fungus Gnats are a product of overwatering, get a small fan to blow across the top of your soil and across your plants LIGHTLY. I put a layer of Hydroton or sand on top of my soil to cut down on the fungus gnats. You could also try adding beneficial bacteria, Bacillus Subtilis for example will kill fungus gnat larvae. Roots Organics soil comes with them 100% of the time in my experience and I throw some microbe teas in with some Subtilis, they generally clear up within a week of the first treatment for me. Here is a link to a product containing pest killing (and plant helping) microbes. http://www.amazon.com/Real-Growers-Recharge-8oz/dp/B00J1CAEIG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449007186&sr=8-1&keywords=real+growers+recharge

I add some directly to my soil before I put my plants in. Also add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per gallon when watering. You will likely experience an explosion of root growth after using this product or something similar (Great White is another good one but more pricey). Hope this information helped. (Also the fungus gnats will probably do nothing to your plants other than annoy the shit out of you when you're taking care of them)

Generally, this is what people are talking about when they say "Recharge", but there are other products/methods to choose from. :)

  1. Usually not but it depends on what type of hydroponic system you're using. In non-recirculating deep water culture systems, the water doesn't move at all until you change it. In flood and drain systems, people usually set their pumps to flood 1-10 times per day depending on the situation. Usually the water flows for a time and then stops in between.

  2. This depends on your plants light needs and sometimes it also depends on the stage of growth, depending on the plant. For instance, I keep the lights over my seedlings on 24 hours a day. For most adult plants I light them for 18 hours per day. For photoperiodic plants its different but I don't think that applies to you.

  3. Do you mean air or nutrient temperatures? I use LED lights indoors so my temps are always fine. Are you concerned your nutrient solution temps might get too high? Here are a few suggestions:

  • paint your reservoir white
  • top off your reservoir with cool water
  • use Recharge or some other probiotic additive to out-compete harmful soil microbes, thereby reducing the risk of root rot
  • if you use hot lights, keep the reservoir outside of the grow closet
  • if you grow outside, shade and/or bury your reservoir in the ground to help keep it cool.
  • build a homemade chiller?!

I add Real Growers Recharge to my worm bins which contains molasses (made from sugar) and they're doing great. So yes this item of yours will be fine.

Add some Grower's Recharge. It's designed to revitalize soil.

Well I'm stumped. pH 6.0 run off seems low. Might be 5.x at root zone. There is always flushing with 1/8-1/4 strength nute water 2-3x the amount of soil (pot size), then feed. You could also try this I've read it fixes ALOT of problems in soil. Fixes pH problems, 48 hr stronger plant guarantee. Can't see how it could hurt.

Can you get your hands on some Recharge? Or any equivalent 'super pack' of bacteria/fungi? pH and nutrient deficiencies are solved a lot easier with beneficial bacteria in your soil. You could skip the litmus strips, skip checking your N dosage, skip checking pH. I haven't pH'd my water in over a year.

Lockout, likely mag not being on the take correctly.

Recharge to start. I stand by this stuff for any uptake/lockout issues if you know you have a balanced feeding profile.https://www.amazon.com/Real-Growers-Recharge-8oz/dp/B00J1CAEIG
