Agreed, they're cheap, no reason not to get a pair. I use the ones similar to below that clamp and lock onto the barbell, way better than the normal spring clips at gyms.

Specialty bars (SSB, camber bar, football bar, etc) are often a little smaller than the full 2" olympic sleeves. If that's what you're looking for, I bought a set of these cheap collars on amazon and they work fine on my Crepinsek SSB. They will work on a 2" olympic sleeve as well.
